No.3 VE Day – Some ideas to include VE Day (8 May) in your programme
Friday 8 May 2020 marks the seventy-fith anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day.
VE Day was when the fighting stopped across mainland Europe and brought an end to nearly six years of loss and devastation.
A national day of celebration was planned for Friday 8 May which is a Bank Holiday.
Many of the events have had to be cancelled because of social distancing.
However it is still possible to get involved from home.

Matthew found a booket that he picked up in Essex last year with 100 challenges to celebrate thier centenary. Amazingly 70 can still be completed while social distancing, so he’s scanned the book and popped in on here!
